Meet Your Baker, Brittany

​

Hi! I’m Brittany, your baker. Born and raised in Victoria, I asked for a pastry torch at eight years old. While my parents saw a fire hazard, I thought I was just like the chefs on Food Network.

 

After years in New York working as a stand-up comedian, actress, and never-ending cater-waiter, I have found my way back to my first love: the kitchen. Years of baking for the joy of my friends and family shifted into an obsession with flavour, technique, and the universal comfort of a perfectly made cookie.

 

My own Julia Child moment came training under an esteemed Vancouver Island French pastry chef. I got to refine my craft, expand my knowledge, and learn how to bring my creativity to life.

 

Now, I have hung up the open sign on my very own door. With a big heart, some dry humour, and a little sparkle (or a lot), I will be here doing my part to bake joy into Victoria... one bedazzled or oversized cookie at a time.
